#Open voice settings
Select a voice in the picker, then choose Edit voice settings on its row. Adjust a control and select Done to return to the voice list. Your settings are remembered for that voice in the browser, making it easier to reuse a familiar delivery.
Settings shape generated narration. They do not alter an audio voiceover you have already recorded and uploaded.
#What each control does
| Control | Effect |
|---|---|
| Speed | Sets how quickly narration is spoken, from 0.70× to 1.20×. |
| Stability | Lower values allow more expressive variation; higher values produce steadier delivery. |
| Similarity | Controls how closely the result matches the original voice. |
| Style exaggeration | Amplifies the voice’s style. Lower values keep the delivery more restrained. |
| Speaker boost | Boosts similarity to the original speaker. |
#Tune in small steps
Start from the recommended settings
Listen to the voice before changing several controls. Use Reset to recommended if you want to return to the starting point.
Change one control
For example, reduce Speed slightly if narration feels rushed, or raise Stability if delivery varies too much.
Preview a custom voice
Return to the selected custom voice and press Play. A sample matching changed settings is generated on demand when needed.
Review the final narration
After generation, listen in the editor. A short sample helps compare settings, while the project contains the complete script.
