Account settings
Manage sign-in, profile details, email preferences, and an optional presenter account.
On this page
#Profile and sign-in
Open Settings from the account menu. Account contains your profile picture, name, sign-in email, and password controls. Change beside Avatar uploads a profile image for the studio and team lists; it does not change your video presenter.
Your displayed name is managed by your sign-in provider. The sign-in email is shown here but cannot be changed on this page.
Open password settings
Choose Change password, or Set password if you currently sign in only with Google.
Enter and confirm
Enter your current password where requested, then the new password twice.
Complete verification
Follow any request to verify your identity, then save. You can cancel a verification prompt without changing the password.
#Connect your own presenter account
Presenter (HeyGen) lets you optionally connect your own HeyGen account. Paste your API key, read the linked terms, check the authorization box, and choose Save key. The saved key is masked; you can replace or remove it later.
With your own account connected, avatar generation uses that account’s API wallet instead of the Kinema avatar fee. Your normal Kinema video production costs still apply. Keep enough balance available for the presenter sections you plan to generate.
The connection applies across brand profiles. Never include the full key in a screenshot, support message, or public document.
#Email preferences
Use the switches to choose the optional emails you want. These settings do not change the project’s status or stop work already running.
| Preference | Notification |
|---|---|
| Build ready | A project timeline is ready to review. |
| Render ready | A final video finishes rendering. |
| Low credits | The available balance is running low. |
| Team approvals | A team project is waiting for approval. |
| Product emails | News, tips, and occasional promotional messages. |
#Delete an account
In Danger zone, choose Delete account. The confirmation requires you to type DELETE and may ask you to verify your identity before Permanently delete becomes effective. Cancel exits the confirmation.
