#Add a presenter to a video
Use AI presenter when you want an avatar to deliver parts of your narration on camera. You can start with a script and narration voice, or pair a presenter with your own audio recording.
Choose Avatar video on Dashboard or enable AI presenter in Sources. Open Presenter to choose or upload the person who will appear. The Elias niche also starts with a presenter-led setup.
#Create a presenter from a photo
Upload a photo
In the presenter picker, select Upload a photo. Choose a clear photo of the person facing the camera. Use a widescreen 16:9 JPG or PNG, up to 20 MB.
Name your presenter
Enter an optional name in the photo confirmation, or leave it blank for an automatic name.
Select the presenter
Choose the saved card. Use search to find a presenter by name when you have several.
Continue
Review the selected presenter and return to your video setup.
#Choose delivery and coverage
The picker offers Avatar IV and Avatar III, with the current per-minute rate shown beside each option. Avatar IV also has Calm, Medium, and Expressive motion choices. Choose the delivery that suits your script.
In Advanced settings, High on-camera coverage makes the presenter appear in more of the film. Presenter charges are based on the time the avatar is on camera, so check the estimate after changing coverage. Other parts of the film can use your selected footage and image sources.
#Reuse and manage presenters
Presenters stay in your picker for future videos and can be saved as a brand-profile choice. Manage cast adds recurring characters for generated scenes.
If you connect your own HeyGen account in Settings, its avatar generation is charged to your HeyGen account rather than the Kinema avatar fee. Other video production charges still apply. The confirmation warns when the connected account appears short for the build.
Owners and managers can delete presenters. The confirmation explains that deletion also removes the presenter from the connected presenter account and cannot be undone. Existing videos keep their generated footage.
