#Create a team workspace

Team workspaces are available on plans with team seats. Open Teams to see your seat usage and workspaces. A team shares the owner’s workspace resources and credit budget.

  1. Create team

Enter a New team name and press Create team when the control is available.

  2. Invite a collaborator

Enter the teammate’s email, choose Editor or Manager, and press Send invite.

  3. Check the invitation

Pending invitations appear in the roster. Use Revoke if an invitation is no longer needed.

  4. Switch workspace

After joining, choose the team from the workspace selector near the top of the sidebar.

#Join from an invitation

Open the button in the invitation email and sign in with the same email address that received it. The invite screen joins the team and takes you to its workspace. If you signed in with a different address, use Sign in as the invited email.

Use the most recent invitation if an older link no longer works. For an invalid or already-used link, check whether the team is already in your workspace selector, or ask its owner or manager for a fresh invitation.

A team member can work under the owner’s active plan without a separate personal subscription. Creating in My Workspace uses your own account’s access and credits.

#Understand roles

Editors can also create or edit brand profiles and add presenter or cast material, but deletion controls for these shared resources are restricted. Choose the role that matches what the collaborator needs to do.

RoleTypical workspace permissions
OwnerOwns the team, provides its plan and credits, manages members, approves builds, and can disband the team.
ManagerManages workspace work and team members, approves builds, and can view team credit activity.
EditorCreates and edits projects. Cannot delete projects or view the team credit logs. Builds may require approval.

#Approve a build

A project submitted by an editor may show Awaiting approval. The owner or manager can open the project and choose Approve build, or use the project options menu. Approval allows the build to start using the team’s credits.

Some workspaces allow editors to build without waiting. The explanation shown in Teams reflects whether approval is required for that workspace.

#Change access

  • Owners and managers can change a member’s role or select Remove in the roster.
  • A member who does not own the team can choose Leave team.
  • The owner can choose Disband and confirm. Members lose access; the projects remain on the owner’s account.
  • If you cannot invite another member, compare the seat counter with your plan allowance before changing plans.
