#Preview a theme before changing the video

The Graphics catalog offers Obsidian, Dispatch, Chronicle, Monarch, Vector, and Slate. Click a swatch to preview catalog cards in that theme. Previewing a swatch does not change the video.

When you preview a different theme, Change video theme to… appears. Click it and confirm to update every graphic in the video. This also replaces individual graphic theme choices, so the whole video uses the selected theme.

#Style one graphic differently

Select a graphic block, then use Theme in its side panel. The entry marked “(video)” follows the video’s theme. A different choice applies to that graphic only.

Use an individual choice for a deliberate change of emphasis. If your goal is consistent styling across every graphic, use the catalog’s Change video theme action instead.

#Edit text and repeated items

Keep labels short enough to read during the graphic’s time window. A larger word count is not always better: preview the full entrance, readable hold, and exit at normal speed.

ControlHow to use it
Text fieldReplace the text and use the character counter to stay within the design’s space. Longer passages use a larger text area.
Highlights or accent wordsEnter words or phrases that occur in the main text so the emphasis can match them.
Number or valueEnter the value shown by the design. Use its separate unit or prefix field when available.
List rowsEdit each item directly. Use Add or the remove control within the displayed minimum and maximum.
ImageOpen Media and choose a picture for an image-bearing design.

#Place the graphic clearly

Designs with a Position menu can use a corner or center anchor. Designs with a Position on frame pad let you drag its dot to place a callout. Annotated images provide a separate pad for each callout.

These controls belong to designed graphics. Uploaded overlays use a selection box and corner handles directly on the preview. Check captions and presenter placement before settling on either kind of visual.

For a graphic over footage, toggle Background to compare the design with and without its backing shade. Keep whichever version reads more clearly against the actual scene.
